OUR HISTORY

"... recently in Moscow company of Gn`R fans has croped up. Occasionally, they meet together and go somewhere to take a rest, to chat,to have a bottle of beer, to listen to fave music,to play guitar and sing fave songs. Usually their meetings are held somewhere in the country or in Moscow parks, or at smb`s place, or in one of Moscow clubs. The company is rather peaceable and friendly, and don`t break peace and order of the city.

The company was gathered by hefty, but easy-going guy, Sergey Panfilov nicknamed Guns. And he told me during our converse, how it was up.

As a matter of fact, it was so: In summer`96 Panfilov had a rest in a summer camp, and oneday, walking along territory of the camp, he saw a guy, who was wearing T-shirt "Guns n`Roses", Sergey, not being shy, made friends with the guy, and futher set of his friends began to rise, and one Sunday morning they decided to gather together and go to Tzaritzino Park. It was at the same date in 1996, but in autumn. In Tzaritzino had gathered a company of Tolkien`s fanciers, who likes to flourish by swords, among them there was a group of guys dressed in T-shirts "Queen". And, in the first day of existence of their, company gunners were carpeted for the fight. But fortunately, everything terminated well - both companies friendly drank off "a cistern" of beer and became good friends. That is all there is to it:) And else, Sergey-Guns wanna apply to all Gn`R fans to join the company, and become members of large and united family..."

"...Every gunner watched a TV concert of Gn`r even though once in his life. And by all means everyone wanted to be there, in the crowd of elated fans, and on the top of general euphoria to sing together a splendid song by Bob Dilan... But Gn`R have never given a concert in Russia and scarcely they will. And there is no russian bands, what executes covers of Gn`R. People, wearing raiment "Guns N`Roses", are met very seldom. So leva and Panfilov decided to find Gn`R fans and gather them together. When they met people dresses in T-shirts "Guns n`Roses", they made friends with them and exchanged with them phone numbers. Then oneday they rang them up and assigned a day and a place of meeting.

When we gathered together, we went to one of Moscow parks. And where we drank beer, play guitars and we always had with us a banner "Guns N`Roses, and so we sponsored ourselves concerts. We sang such splendid songs as Knockin` on Heavens, Don`t Cry, Used to Love, Patience, Paradise Ciry, One a Million. And Strong feeling of unity carry away us. (By the way, fans of other bands came at our meetings, cause they liked Gn`R, too).

But don`t think, that everything was smooth. Some individuals didn`t understand a content of these meetings. It wasn`t interesting for them because of drift of their minds. And so they didn`t come again. Sometimes people, whose thoughts was only about jag, join us. But them didn`t stay in our company for a long time either..."
